Motolectron - North Caloocan takes the privacy of each individual who visits our physical store and online ordering system very seriously. The Company will process your personal information in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, advisories, and other related laws.
This privacy policy sets out how the Company collects and processes information about its customers when they visit our physical store, browse our website, access our social media accounts, and/or place orders through any of our e-commerce and Point-of-Sale platforms.

Basic Personal Information such as the customer's name, address, and telephone/cellphone number are collected upon signing the Company's official logbook or processing walk-in POS transactions. Also, video footage via CCTV records the entry, exit, and other activities of customers/visitors in the store premises.
By visiting our physical store or browsing the website, the following Personal Information may be collected: the visitor's name, address, telephone number, and email address. Upon purchasing any items on the Company's website, the foregoing Personal Information along with the following are also collected: payment references (e.g., GCash or Bank Transfer reference numbers), registration name, password, and other information from which the individual can be identified, and which are voluntarily disclosed to the Company at any time.
The collection of the customer's personal information or video footage begins upon:
Entry into the Motolectron physical store;
Creation and registration of an online account on the Company website;
Input of any information in physical or digital forms;
Placement of orders through the website, physical POS, or via Facebook Messenger/telephone calls;
Subscription to the Company's Newsletter;
Placement of feedback, inquiries, and/or complaints regarding the Company and its services.
When permitted by law, the collection, processing, storage, and use of the above-mentioned personal information or recordings shall be for the purpose of conducting the Company's business, including learning your preferences as our customer to enhance your user experience on our websites and to provide you with information, content, and offerings tailored to your needs. In addition, the Company uses cookies which will be explained in a later section below.
How We Use:
The Personal Information provided by the Customers to the Company is for the purpose of enabling the Company to conduct its business, including providing motorcycle accessories, gears, and services to its customers.
The Company uses your Personal Information to:
Process, verify, and complete orders you place via the Website, POS, or our Facebook page;
Process and deal with any complaints or inquiries made by you;
Monitor, develop, and improve the Website and your experience when using the system;
Process the registration of your customer account and maintain your customer account;
Send you email or social media updates about our store, new products, and promos.
In case the Customers opt to provide the requested personal information, the Customers are willfully and knowingly consenting that our company, employees, agents, and our third-party providers USE AND STORE Personal Information for the purpose of making transactions or inquiries with our company.
If the Customer does not wish to receive marketing information from the Company, the Customer can directly message us on our Official Facebook Page to let the Company know.
How We Protect:
The Company takes the security of its customers' personal information seriously and has safeguards in place to ensure data security is maintained. The Company will not share customer information with any individuals or entities, except as reasonably necessary for completing a transaction, managing your account, fulfilling marketing purposes, and complying with legal or regulatory requirements.
The Company protects personal information during transit using encryption such as Secure Sockets Layer technology. Where the customer has a password which enables access to the website, the customer is responsible for keeping this password secure and confidential.

When you visit the website, we may automatically collect the following information: your internet protocol address, log-in information, browser type, operating system, and information about your visit including the products you viewed or searched for.
